MPSPC conducts consultation, critiquing for PH Quality Awards with External Consultant

In its continuous stint for excellence, the College convened for the Philippine Quality Awards (PQA) assessment workshop, which began yesterday, April 17 and ended today, April 18 at the Administrative Conference Hall. Dr. Joel C. Amante was the consultant from PQA.

In his message, College President Edgar G. Cue, represented by Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Dexter C. Lingbanan, stated, “…through this assessment workshop, we look forward to the enhancement of our organizational performance and frameworks which are critical in the operation, improvement, and direction of our college.”

Prior to this, several institutional workshops were conducted for the TWGs by the Institutional Quality Assurance Unit for the requirements of the Criteria for Performance Excellence as embodied in the seven categories including (a) Leadership, (b) Strategy, (c) Customers, (d) Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management, (e) Workforce, (f) Operations, and (g) Results.

The said activity further aimed to equip the participants with the necessary skills to enhance the quality of the reports while ensuring alignment with the College’s strategic objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in quality management.

Another workshop will be carried out for the integration of the recommendations from Dr. Amante before the final output is submitted to PQA.
