Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) has reinforced its commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a formal partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Mountain Province. During the Collegeโs 55th Founding Anniversary on April 12, 2024, MPSPC President Dr. Edgar G. Cue and SK Federation President Mr. Ken Paulo P. Nacnas signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that formalizes the Collegeโs role in supporting youth-led policy development and community engagement.
This collaboration enables MPSPC to work closely with the SK Federation in identifying local development challenges, co-designing youth-centered programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), and contributing research-based insights that enhance SDG-aligned governance.
Through this partnership, the College provides technical support, expertise in planning and monitoring, and academic resources that help ensure evidence-informed decision-making for sustainable development initiatives.
The agreement also opens opportunities for student organizations to participate in community-service efforts and local policy dialogues, strengthening participatory governance at the regional level. The MOU signing, witnessed by College officials including Mr. Winston Calde, underscores MPSPCโs expanding role in shaping youth development policies and promoting collaborative action toward a more sustainable Mountain Province.
