MPSPC PRODUCES TWO NEW PROFESSORS; TEN OTHERS RECLASSIFIED


After surpassing the stringent validation of documents and the subsequent grueling accreditation by the Evaluation and Accreditation Committee composed of experts in Curriculum & Instruction, two faculty members of the Teacher Education Department – Bontoc campus obtained their respective professorial ranks as per DBM-CHED Joint Circular No. 3, series of 2022 (JC3) and by virtue of BOT Resolution No. 154, series of 2024. Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez, Vice President for Academic Affairs was reclassified from Associate Professor III to Professor V and Dr. Johnny P. Cayabas, Jr., Dean of the School of Advanced Education from Associate Professor V to Professor II.

Meanwhile, ten other existing professors were also reclassified to higher ranks. Two faculty members were also reclassified Associate Professor V in addition to 13 other Asso V professors of the College who took their oath in December, 2023. This recent faculty reclassification is the first cycle of the new JC3 formerly known as NBC 461.
