Nursing Dep’t advances its academic program for assessment through strategic planning workshop

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Quality Education, Gender Equality, and Strong Partnerships, the Nursing Department of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) is spearheading a workshop titled “Strategic Planning with MFOs for the BS Nursing Program” today and tomorrow, March 14-15, at the College Admin Hall, MPSPC-Bontoc Campus, MP.

The two-day activity, attended by the department’s faculty and officers of the Student Nurses Organization, seeks to enhance the delivery of quality education and services to students by uplifting the expertise, skills, and attitude of the nurse educators.

Moreover, the seminar focuses on the five Major Final Outputs (MFOs), namely curriculum and instruction, quality assurance and continuous quality improvement, faculty development and advancement, student development and services, and academic linkages and internalization.

In his message, College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Director for Linkages and Special Projects Dr. Karen B. Cue, encouraged the participants to seize the opportunity to assess their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and assess their curricular achievements and mishaps in order to deliver high standards of service.

“I do believe that you will emerge with a united sense of purpose, and I look forward to a roadmap filled with remarkable goals for this year. I am one with you as we anticipate a year full of fruitful accomplishments and successes,” emphasized Dr. Cue.
