HRMO, GSIS – Baguio colab for Pre-retirement Seminar


The Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO) of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), in collaboration with the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), conducted a Pre-Retirement Seminar at the College Admin Conference Hall this February 27th.

Said seminar was attended by many MPSPC employees seeking orientation on the processes and procedures involved pertaining to retirement plans. During the activity, the participants listened to the presentation of the speakers from GSIS Baguio Branch and had consulting sessions with them afterward.

College President Edgar G. Cue., represented by Executive Assistant Ms. Shaine Macli-ing, acknowledged the GSIS-Baguio representatives and the College’s HRMO for spearheading the activity seeking to address the employees’ concerns and questions on pre-retirement. He also expressed gratitude to the participants for their continued years of service in the institution and hopes that the seminar will help them to make informed decisions, define their pre-retirement plans and transition smoothly into retirement.

Leading the speakers from the GSIS-Baguio branch was Mr. Quintin Bańez, Branch Manager, Ms. Jemima Cher Verceles, Chief of the Billing and Collection Division, Ms. Maria Corazon Esteban and Ms. Getabel Carińo, both Financial Advisors and Mr. Rommel Fonacier, Personnel representative.
