MPSPC hosts CARASUC Writeshop on teaching, tourism and culture

Spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education, Vice Presidents for Academic Affairs, College Deans, and faculty members from Teacher Education, Hospitality Management and Tourism Management programs of various SUCs in the region convened for a two-day CARASUC Writeshop on Developing Effective Teaching and Creative Works Evaluation Tools and Education Tourism and Cultural Huts at the Admin Hall.

The writeshop aims to create a standard evaluation tool for faculty teaching performance to address gaps in the faculty members’ capacity to continually enhance their professional growth, thus embracing dispositions to keep improving their craft. Moreover, boasting its educational tourism programs and as hubs of education tourism, the HEIs and CHED-CAR also initiate a writeshop on the establishment of cultural HUTS as hubs of eco-tourism in all provinces in the region.

The participating SUCs are Abra State Institute of Science and Technology, Apayao State College, Benguet State University, Kalinga State University and Mountain Province State Polytechnic College. The event will end on February 7, 2024.
