“Drivers Enhancement Program with VIP Protocols” Promotes Safe Driving

In a collaborative effort between the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) of MPSPC and Northland Technical Institute, Inc., the first batch of the “Drivers Enhancement Program with VIP Protocols” took place on February 1-2, to be followed by the second batch on February 7-8.

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) supports this initiative, which seeks to control driver instruction fees charged by private driving colleges. Under Republic Act No. 10930’s Implementing Rules and Regulations, the program is available to all driver’s license holders wishing to renew, even those whose licenses have a five-year validity.

The HRMO strongly urges drivers to participate in this two-day event, highlighting its emphasis on road safety, courteous driving, and meeting renewal criteria. The course, which consists of three separate sessions, contains advanced vehicle use talks, comprehensive lectures, and basic LTO information.

This action is a manifestation of the government’s dedication to promoting responsible driving and road safety in addition to increasing traffic safety, skilled drivers benefit companies and organizations. Updated road safety knowledge enables drivers to overcome problems such as high traffic, inclement weather, and reckless driving, thereby averting accidents and reducing institutional responsibilities.

Reflecting the government’s commitment to promoting a safe and orderly road environment for everyone, the program is an essential step in developing a safer and more responsible driving culture.
