CHED Team visits MPSPC; turnovers HEDF equipment

The project monitoring team from the Commission on Higher Education-Cordillera Administrative Region -Office of the Administrative Financial Management System (AFMS) led by Dr. Rogelio T. Galera, Jr., Director IV of AFMS conducted a physical inventory, tagging, and turnover of equipment in Bontoc and Tadian campuses that the College procured with funding from the Higher Education Development Fund Staff (HEDFS).

The projects funded by CHED include “Levelling the Playing Field of MPSPC STEM Faculty and Students to be Technologically Responsive to the Needs of Time” and the “MPSPC Smart Campus Project,” both of which were initiated by the Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) program of the commission.

All equipment that has been procured through the projects is now officially owned by the College.

The HEDFS of the commission was envisioned to be an autonomous buffer fund that can support CHED’s fiscal independence and adequacy as it continues to be more readily responsive to the needs of its constituencies, especially the higher education institutions and their development programs.
