MPSU slates two graduate academic programs for accreditation

In its continuous stint to provide quality education, services, and operations, two graduate academic programs of the University are undergoing an online Accreditation Survey Visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) today, October 2, until October 4, 2024.

Said academic programs include the Master of Arts in Science Education (MASE) and Master of Arts Teaching English (MATE), both undergoing accreditation surveys for Level III.

In his welcome message, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue stressed the crucial role of the said accreditation survey visit—providing satisfactory and quality service to the MPSU family and the community. “This journey towards accrediting our programs implies our dedication to academic excellence that is anchored to our quality policy, which is to fully enhance our programs and services by delivering high standards of satisfaction responsive to the needs of our clients, and this would be made possible by continually improving our systems and processes,” Dr. Cue added.

Presentations and defense of Narrative Profiles are ongoing by the taskforce members and the external accreditors.

The external accreditors include Dr. Divinagracia M. De Guzman from the Nueva Vizcaya State University and Dr. Erlinda S. Jiz De Ortega for MASE; and Dr. Laureana M. Lingan from the Cagayan State University and Dr. Edna C. Aquino from the Rizal Technological University for MATE. Prof. Sarah Jean N. Jamero from Cebu Technological University will accredit the Library areas of both programs.

Meanwhile, another two programs, the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Bachelor of Special Needs Education, will undergo accreditation next week.
