
After a series of capability-building activities on University Research Futures Thinking and Foresight (RFTF), the University is conducting its Phase III Part 2 today at the Coffee & Lemon, Samoki, Bontoc, MP. This three-day event aims to equip the Technical Working Group Members and researchers with advanced skills in future thinking and strategic foresight, empowering them to effectively navigate and shape the evolving landscape of their respective fields.
In his message, University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue represented by VP for Research Development and Extension Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang challenged the participants to seize the opportunity to sharpen their skills, develop an innovative proposal for the betterment of the University, and be guided by the institution’s PRIME values. โHere, we aim to equip our university and refine the tools needed to harness the strategies and boost our production area and foremost, our research sector,โ Dr. Cue added.
This course is offered by Aptissimi Development Innovations, Inc. in partnership with the Philippine Futures Thinking Society and was funded by the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation, and Future Thinking chaired by Senator Pia Cayetano.
Notable guests for the said event include Ms. Ma. Christine F. Reyes (Course Director), Mr. Raul G. Roldan (Resource Person), and Mr. Joel E. Abelinde (Facilitator).
