TESDA Accredits MPSU as Competency Assessment Center


A team from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – Cordillera Regional Office and Mountain Province Provincial Office paid a courtesy call to Mountain Province State University (MPSU) President Dr. Edgar G. Cue at the Office of the President, 3/F Administrative Building, Bontoc, MP today, September 11.

The purpose of the visit is to present the Certificates of Accreditation to MPSU for being an accredited competency assessment center on the following services: Front Office Services NCII; Events Management Services NCIII; Food and Beverage Services NCII; Cookery NCII; and Bread and Pastry Production NCII. Dr. Cue also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the team for their constant support and partnership to MPSU.

Accompanying Dr. Cue were Ms. Maria Fenerlin Comafay and Maria Angelina May-ao. Morever, representing TESDA-CAR were Mr. Allen I. Yadao and Ms. Mary Jane C. Bernales. Present also here were staff from TESDA-Mountain Province headed by Provincial Director Ms. Melita Pinic.

Following this, the School of International Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Management (SIHSTM) was assessed for its accreditation as competency assessment center for housekeeping services.
