
Earlier today, 2nd of September 2024, the Mountain Province State University (MPSU), in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission – Mountain Province and the Reserve Command (RESCOM), hosted the 1st Monday provincial flag-raising ceremony held at the Multipurpose Hall, Plaza, Bontoc, MP.
In his message, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue lauded the remarkable FEATS the college has conquered. Moreover, he also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the respected people behind the successful transition of MPSPC to MPSU. “Therefore, as we continue to deliver our committed service, may we all continue achieving greater heights and becoming conquerors of peaks,” he added.
In celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), dubbed with the 10-year theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes,” CSC-MP Field Office Director Ms. Anita Verina T. Paredes emphasized in her message that said theme centered on sustainable management toward a protected and empowered public service provider in the government.
Furthermore, Congressman Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr., represented by Political Affairs Officer II Dionisio K. Wacdisen, delivered his message of support for sustainable management toward a fair government with the ability to adapt to the dynamic demands of time and society.
Meanwhile, Dr. Cue received MPSU’s certificate of appreciation from the Bureau of Fire Protection – CAR Regional Headquarters for rendering assistance during forest fire incidents and emergencies.
More than these, Bontoc Campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed also presented certificates of recognition to Ms. Jodia P. Pangiyan and Ms. Loriegel L. Bigwil for bringing home one gold and one silver medal during the ROTC Games 2024 – National Qualifying Leg held at Cavite State University. Their coaches and trainers were also given certificates for their invaluable support for this endeavor.
