Representatives from the Office of the Civil Defense Cordillera led by Administration and Financial Management Section Chief Ms. Guadaliva P. Panitio, benchmarked at Mountain Province State University (MPSU) yesterday, November 7, 2024.
During the opening program held at the university’s Administrative Conference Hall, MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr., extended a warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to the team for choosing the university as their benchmark site. Dr. Cue also shared how much MPSU values the opportunity to showcase its GAD journey. Thereafter, MPSUโs GAD Director and Focal Person, Ms. Dixty Caranto, presented the universityโs leading GAD initiatives and strategies, showcasing the best practices that have contributed to creating a gender-responsive environment at the university. The exchange highlighted MPSUโs commitment to GAD, fostering greater collaboration and knowledge-sharing to advance gender equality and inclusivity. Brainstorming and discussions on possible collaboration followed.
