Mountain Province State University (MPSU) hosted a meaningful and vibrant Cultural Night, marking the culmination of the PCSMT 3rd and 4th Quarter Joint Council Meeting and Cultural Immersion, held at the University Auditorium, MPSU, Bontoc, MP, yesterday, December 16, 2025.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, through MPSU Bontoc Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, delivered a message advocating for strengthening relationships that extend beyond the scope of institutions.
โThis Cultural Night is our humble offering to you, a celebration of Cordilleran heritage expressed through music, dance, and tradition. But more than that, it is an invitation: an invitation to feel at home, to see yourselves reflected in the stories we share, and to recognize that while our cultures may be diverse, our aspirations as educators and nation-builders are deeply connected.
With that, may we enjoy the rest of the evening and carry with us a renewed appreciation for diversity, a deeper sense of unity, and a stronger bond that goes beyond institutional affiliations. May the friendships formed here continue long after this gathering, and may the spirit of collaboration we celebrate tonight guide our work in the days ahead,โ Dr. Cue said.
The Cultural Night also symbolized the successful completion of the PCSMT 3rd and 4th Quarter Joint Council Meeting. Outcomes from the meeting reflected strengthened cooperation, renewed commitments, and shared visions aligned with the goals of quality education, responsive governance, and community engagement.
