Mountain Province State University hosted the G.R.A.S.P. (Governance Research Action Summit & Policy Pitch) on Public Safety, Peace and Gender Equality and Research Dissemination, at the Academe Bldg., MPSU, Bontoc, MP., today, December 9, 2025.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, through VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, delivered a message emphasizing the significance of the activity.
“Today’s activity is an affirmation of our shared responsibility to build safer, more peaceful, and more gender-fair communities. In a global landscape shaped by complex public safety challenges, social inequalities, and emerging security concerns, we are called to respond not with fear, but with knowledge. This knowledge empowers policies and inspires action. This summit serves exactly that purpose. Here, ideas are discussed, assessed, sharpened, and transformed into solutions relevant to our local context.”, Cue said.”
The summit provided a vital platform for presenting evidence-based studies, engaging in policy dialogues, and strengthening collaborative action toward sustainable governance in Mountain Province.
MPSU remains committed to empowering communities through knowledge, collaboration, and transformative leadership.
In attendance were Ms. Michelle Doss, Dr. Polando B. Bragado, Atty. Agosto C. Libang, Ms. Marjorie Ngitiw, researchers, faculty, and community partners.
