University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue delivered an inspiring message to third-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students during their orientation-workshop held at the MPSU Auditorium, Bontoc, MP, today, January 28, 2026.

Through Bontoc Campus Director Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, Dr. Cue emphasized the deeper meaning behind the institutional framework.

โ€œBehind every policy is a purpose, and behind every protocol is responsibility,โ€ said Dr. Cue.

Dr. Cue highlighted the importance of this exposure as part of the studentsโ€™ academic and professional formation.

โ€œThis activity allows you to better understand the policies, guidelines, and protocols of the BJMP, and how these are applied in real situations,โ€ he added.

Said event centered on the policies, guidelines, and protocols implemented by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), emphasizing health service protocols in custodial settings.
