IPED BuildingโSounds of gongs and warm smiles filled MPSU-Tadian as CHED Commissioner and MPSU Board of Regents Chairperson Desiderio R. Apag III engaged with students and staff during his visit, following his stop at MPSU-Ba-ang.
Before the program, University officials accompanied Commissioner Apag on a tour of the Coffee Nursery and Plantation at Arena B. They later visited the Indigenous Peoplesโ Education Center after the program ended.
Commissioner Apag emphasized that his visit was neither formal nor symbolic, but an opportunity โto see the campus, meet the people, and have an open conversation about how things are working on the ground.โ He underscored the importance of campus visits, highlighting that the Commissionโs decisions and policies are most effective when informed by firsthand experience rather than solely by reports and presentations during board meetings.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue warmly welcomed the commissioner, expressing hopes that the visit would be both meaningful and memorable. On behalf of the University, he extended sincere gratitude for the visit.
MPSU-Tadian Administrator Dr. Brent Greg E. Gomuad and Vice President for Administration and Finance Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo also conveyed their welcome messages and best wishes to Commissioner Apag.
Adding to the occasion, MPSU-Tadianโs Cultural Arts Group performed traditional presentations, enriching the event with vibrant colors and sounds.
