Mountain Province State University (MPSU) marked another significant milestone as University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the ceremonial turn over of law books from the University of Baguio led by Mr. John Nigel Millare, Director of the UB libraries, together with Ms. Reyna Florendo, today, February 09, 2026 at the Admin Lobby, Bontoc, MP.
The donation comes at a pivotal time as MPSU prepares for the opening of its Juris Doctor Program, laying the groundwork for the future College of Law.
In his message, Dr. Cue noted that partnership between MPSU and UB is rooted in a shared purpose.
โPartnership is not about standing side by side- it is about moving forward with a shared purpose,โ said Dr. Cue.
He also assured that the donated law books will be carefully managed, responsibly preserved, and meaningfully used to help shape the minds of aspiring lawyers who will one day serve society with competence and integrity.
โWe assure the University of Baguio that the law books you have donated will be carefully managed, responsibly preserved, and meaningfully used. These resources will help shape minds and transform the lives of many dreamers as they pursue their goals of becoming ethical and competent lawyers of the future,โ he added.
Following the ceremony, Mr. Millare together with Ms. Florendo, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the President, providing an opportunity to further strengthen ties and affirming both institutionโs commitment to collaboration and shared vision for academic excellence.
