Venue: University Admin Conference Hall
Performance Guidelines
Per the official competition rules, please keep the following in mind for your audition:
The Duo: Exactly two actors (one character per actor).
The Script: Must be an original dialogue script with an emphasis on verbal interchange.
Time Limit: Performance must be between 5 to 7 minutes.
Style: No recorded speaking or singing. Background music is allowed, but the focus is on your live performance and mastery of the piece.
We will be grading based on the official criteria:
Acting Skills (50%): Character depth, facial expressions, and movement.
Teamwork & Chemistry (20%): How well you interact and your use of the stage (blocking).
Delivery (20%): Voice projection, enunciation, and script mastery.
Overall Impact (10%): The “wow” factor of your production.
Note: Please bring a copy of your original script to the audition. All pieces must be memorized for the final competition, but for auditions, we are looking for potential, chemistry, and raw talent!
