To prepare for the implementation of the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), the University welcomed two technical evaluators from the Commission on Higher Education-Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) yesterday, 10 March 2026.

Supervising Education Program Specialist Ms. Menzie O. Kuengan and Education Supervisor II Ms. Melody C. Labawig met with Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, MPSU-Bontoc Campus Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, ETEEAP Director Ms. Blesselyn S. Tayni, college deans, and program chairpersons.

ETEEAP is a CHED initiative that awards bachelor’s degrees to working professionals who meet specific criteria. This program allows individuals to earn a degree without traditional classroom attendance by recognizing their prior learning, skills, and work experience as equivalent to academic credits.

Said meeting focused on the evaluation and validation of program compliance, assessment mechanisms, documentary requirements, and overall readiness in accordance with established ETEEAP statutory requirements and quality standards.
