MPSU-BontocโTo enhance emergency preparedness within the University, a two-day Responders Training for the School Emergency Response Team (SERT) was conducted, featuring both theoretical and practical sessions.
The training commenced yesterday, March 22, at the University AVR with an informative lecture designed to equip participants with critical knowledge on emergency protocols and response strategies. Today, March 23, attendees participated in a hands-on demonstration at Eyeb Grounds, putting theory into practice through simulated emergency scenarios.
Leading the training were seasoned officers FO3 Evona Faith Patingan-Chinalpan, FO3 Dick Allen Banasan, FO1 Ezekiel Sewag, FO1 Eugene Godoy, and FO1 Warren Atolba. Their combined expertise was instrumental in delivering comprehensive instruction tailored to school-specific emergency situations. The sessions were further supported by two criminology interns from Bravo Company.
Said training further bolstered the readiness and capability of University emergency teams, ensuring safer learning environments for students and staff alike.
