𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘅𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗦 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Fire Olympics 2026 ignited with passion, discipline, and unity as University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the event with his presence and delivered a stirring message to participants today, March 20, 2026 at Eyeb ground, MPGCHS, Bontoc, MP.

In his message, he shared a story of bayanihan—a community rallying together during a fire, neighbors helping one another without hesitation.

“No one asked, ‘Is this my responsibility?’ Instead, they asked, ‘How can I help?’ That spirit is what we hope to ignite in each one of you today,” said Dr. Cue.

He also reminded the students that their training is not only about enforcing the law but about serving humanity. He stressed that the Fire Olympics is more than competition—it is preparation, discipline, and responsibility.

“In times of fire and emergency, good intentions alone are not enough. Without proper training, one can easily become a victim instead of a responder. True service means knowing how to act, when to act, and how to protect yourself while protecting others,” he added.

Said Fire Olympics showcased rescue simulations, firefighting drills, and team competitions, all designed to instill readiness and resilience.
