
The University’s Liberal Arts Department is conducting the third phase of its Leadership and Public Speaking Seminar and Workshop today, 08 April 2026. The event, themed “Speaking Truth to Power: Professional Integrity in Public Discourse,” aims to enhance participants’ leadership and ethical communication skills.
Lectures for the said event were delivered by Dr. Rexton F. Chakas and Mr. Arthur Leonard B. Odsey of the Provincial Local Government Unit.
Said seminar also featured a keynote message from University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by MPSU-Bontoc Administrator Dr. Arel. B. Sia-ed, where he stressed that public speaking is not just about overcoming fear but about embracing responsibility to communicate truth, inspire action, and drive meaningful change.
Workshops will be conducted where the participants will engage in practical exercises to further develop their public speaking and leadership skills.
