University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, through VP for Administration and Finance, Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr., graced the Master of Arts in Science Education Research Colloquium today, April 21, at Room 409, MPSU, Bontoc, MP.
In his keynote, Dr. Cue emphasized that the colloquium was more than a presentation of studies; it was a celebration of inquiry and discovery.
He reminded participants that each research shared represented not only academic effort but also a commitment to advancing the field of science education.
“As future leaders in research, you are called not only to explore knowledge, but to transform how learning happens,” said Dr. Cue.
Drawing inspiration from Peps McCrea, he highlighted that ideas alone are never enough- research and practice must work together to create meaningful and lasting change.
In his conclusion, Dr. Cue challenged the presenters.
“May your presentations today be rigorous in method, bold in purpose, and rich in possibility. Continue to nurture your passion for inquiry and let your work make a meaningful difference in the field of science education and beyond.”
