Prexy Cue highlights trust and shared responsibility at COA Exit Conference

University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the Commission on Audit (COA) Exit Conference alongside university officials, underscoring the institution’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement today, April 29, 2026 at University Board Room, Bontoc, MP.

Dr. Cue acknowledged the rigor of the audit process, noting that it requires attention to detail, long hours of review, and the courage to highlight both strengths and areas for improvement.

He also emphasized that the COA team’s role goes beyond compliance, describing them as partners who genuinely help institutions grow stronger.

He reminded colleagues that audit findings, while sometimes challenging, are opportunities for correction, discipline, and service.

“Accountability is not about compliance alone, it is about growth, discipline, and shared responsibility,” Dr. Cue stressed.

Special recognition was given to OIC-Audit Team Leader, Ms. Sanserry T. Chakas and her team who led the audit team with clarity, firmness, and fairness.

Said conference reaffirmed MPSU’s dedication to responsible stewardship of resources and its mission to advance education, integrity, and community development.
