BONTOC, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE — In a heartwarming tribute to the mothers within its community, Mountain Province State University (MPSU) – Bontoc distributed special wellness vouchers earlier today, May 11, 2026.
Spearheaded by the Gender and Development (GAD) Unit in collaboration with the Events Management Office, the initiative aimed to provide hardworking moms with a well-deserved moment of relaxation following the Mother’s Day weekend.
The distributed “Certificate Vouchers” entitle the university’s Mothers to a complimentary pampering session. Recipients are treated to a FREE 20-minute massage at the Happiness Center, located at Admin 303, 3rd Floor Admin Building, MPSU Bontoc.
To guarantee a smooth and peaceful experience for everyone, organizers are advising recipients to plan ahead. Because there are a limited number of massage machines available at the facility, walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a spot. All voucher holders are strongly encouraged to drop by the Happiness Center at their earliest convenience to schedule their preferred time slot.
The university hopes this small token of appreciation brings joy and rest to its community members, echoing the sentiment printed on the day’s vouchers: “Mothers hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever.”
