MPSU Bontoc Holds Executive Council Meeting


Mountain Province State University (MPSU) – Bontoc convened its Executive Council Meeting on June 4, 2026, at the Admin Hall, bringing together College Deans, Program Chairs, coordinators and registrar’s office to discuss key academic and administrative preparations for the upcoming First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, Campus Administrator, and focused on ensuring the smooth implementation of academic programs, enrollment processes, and faculty workload. Among the major agenda discussed were the finalization of course offerings and faculty loading, enrollment schedules for undergraduate and graduate programs, start-of-class preparations, faculty evaluation results, program concerns, and other institutional activities.

The council also reviewed remaining Middle Term 2025-2026 activities, including final examinations, submission of grading sheets, and processing of faculty clearances. Updates on faculty requirements and staffing needs across various programs were likewise presented to ensure that instructional services will be adequately supported in the coming semester.

As enrollment approaches, the members of the Executive Council reaffirmed their commitment to providing efficient services to students and maintaining the quality of instruction that the university is known for. The meeting served as a venue for collaborative planning, coordination, and decision-making geared toward achieving the University’s academic goals and delivering responsive educational services to its stakeholders.
