
Under the leadership of President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, Mountain Province State University (MPSU), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), proudly announces the delivery of Coffee Production Equipment under the Shared Service Facility (SSF) for Enhancing Arabica Coffee Quality and Productivity Project at MPSU Bauko (VSDRED Center), Baang, Banao, Bauko, Mountain Province.
The newly delivered equipment will play a vital role in improving the quality and productivity of Arabica Coffee Production in Mountain Province by providing modern processing technologies that support farmers, coffee producers, and industry stakeholders.
Beyond production enhancement, the equipment will also serve as training facilities for the Coffee Production Level II Program registered under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). Through hands-on training and competency-based learning, future coffee growers, processors, and entrepreneurs will gain the knowledge and skills needed to meet industry standards and contribute to the sustainable growth of the local coffee sector.
This milestone reflects the shared commitment of MPSU and DTI to advancing coffee industry development, promoting quality education and skills training, and empowering communities through innovation and livelihood opportunities.
