𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 || 𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛

In support of clean air advocacy and environmental sustainability, Mountain Province State University (MPSU) observes 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵, pursuant to Memorandum Order No. PEGC-205, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the University President.

This initiative aligns with Republic Act No. 8749, otherwise known as the Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999, which promotes the reduction of air pollution and motor vehicle emissions to protect public health and the environment.

All University personnel are encouraged to use alternative modes of transportation such as walking, cycling, carpooling, or public transportation when reporting to work. Parking spaces within the University premises will be closed to privately owned vehicles during Carless Day in support of this initiative.

Let us all contribute to a cleaner, greener, and healthier campus by embracing sustainable transportation practices. Together, let’s reduce emissions and build a more sustainable MPSU community.
