𝐋𝐀 𝐝𝐞𝐩’𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐀𝐏𝐒 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (BAPS) program formally welcomed its new cohort of students during the departmental orientation held today June, 30, 2026 held at the Mayaen’s Sports Complex.

The event was graced by University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue through his representative Atty. Denmark P. Butic, who delivered an inspiring message that set the tone for the academic journey ahead.

In his address, Dr. Cue emphasized the vital role of political science students in shaping the future of communities and the nation.

“As a political science, you are preparing yourselves to become individuals who will one day influence decisions that affect communities, provinces, and perhaps even the entire nation. That is both an honor and a great responsibility.”

Said orientation program also featured introductions to faculty members, academic policies, and student support services, ensuring that the new BAPS students are equipped with the knowledge and resources to thrive.
