MPSU continues advancing CEBB as four PDLs progress to higher year levels

Mountain Province State University (MPSU) continues to make significant strides in expanding access to higher education behind bars as four Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) from the Bontoc District Jail have successfully enrolled for the upcoming academic year under the College Education Behind Bars (CEBB) Program.

Three are incoming third-year students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration at the Bontoc Campus, while one is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship at the Tadian Campus.

The continued academic progress of the PDL students at Bontoc District Jail stands as a powerful reminder that education knows no boundaries and that every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and transform their lives.

Said initiative traces its roots to 2022 when the university, under the leadership of Dr. Edgar G. Cue, launched a pioneering extension program aimed at bringing higher education to individuals in correctional facilities.
