Mountain Province State University (MPSU) proudly held the Recognition and Awarding Ceremony for the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 working committee earlier today June, 29 at the Wall of Excellence, 5th Floor, MPSU Admin Bldg.
The event celebrated the dedication and significant contributions of the committee members whose efforts advanced the university’s institutional performance and strengthened its standing in the global academic community.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the ceremony and delivered an inspiring message, reflecting on the lessons from the Global Sustainable Development Congress:
“The Global Sustainable Development Congress reminded us that strong sustainability performance is built on accurate documentation, timely data, strategic research, and meaningful outreach. If we are able to strengthen these areas, we can improve our SDG indicators and contribute more effectively to the global sustainability agenda.”
By honoring the committee, MPSU not only acknowledged their hard work but also reaffirmed its vision of building a university community that thrives on shared responsibility and global relevance.
