Training on Espresso Machine Maintenance and Calibration

Mountain Province State University (MPSU) President Dr. Edgar G. Cue graced the Training on Espresso Machine Maintenance and Barista Equipment Calibration held yesterday, June 29, at the 6th Floor Conference Hall, MPSU, Bontoc.

In his message, Dr. Cue emphasized precision, consistency, and continuous improvement, comparing coffee preparation to professional growth.

“In coffee preparation, a slight error in calibration can change the taste of an espresso. Likewise, in life and in public service, small improvements made consistently create extraordinary results. This training reflects MPSU’s commitment to developing professionals who are not only knowledgeable, but also industry-ready,” said Dr. Cue.

He further encouraged participants to maximize the learning opportunity by developing both their technical expertise and professional discipline, emphasizing that excellence is achieved through attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning.
