MPSU Bontoc Executive Council Convenes to Strengthen Academic and Administrative Operations


The Executive Council of Mountain Province State University – Bontoc, led by Campus Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, successfully conducted its first Executive Council Meeting for AY 2026-2027 to discuss key priorities and strategic directions for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027.

The meeting focused on essential institutional matters, including faculty loading, course offerings, enrollment assessment, faculty performance evaluation, IPCR, research and extension initiatives, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Faculty Development Program (FDP), student mobility opportunities, and preparations for Board Operations Programs.

The council also recognized the University’s strong faculty performance based on student and supervisor evaluations and reaffirmed its commitment to continuous quality improvement, academic excellence, and responsive leadership. Future initiatives such as international student mobility, faculty development opportunities, enhancement of research and extension activities were likewise highlighted.

Through collaborative planning and shared commitment, the Executive Council continues to advance the University’s mission of providing quality, innovative, and globally competitive education in service of the community.
