Mountain Province State University (MPSU) President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, through Bontoc Campus Administrator Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, inspired students during the Student Orientation for students ernolled in Social Orientation subject, held today, July 6 at the Mayaen Sports Complex in Bontoc.
In his message, Dr. Cue emphasized that while intelligence is important, character and emotional intelligence are the true measures of success.
“As I always say, IQ matters but EQ matters most. In the end, it is your character, integrity, and values that will define your true success,” he said.
Moreover, Dr. Cue encouraged students to study hard, enjoy responsibly, love their families, respect others, focus on their own journey, and strive to become not only successful professionals but also good human beings.
Soc-Or (Social Orientation) is an institutional orientation program that introduces students to the university’s vision, mission, core values, policies, student services, and campus life, helping them transition smoothly into their academic journey.
