BREWING CONVERSATIONS & FRIENDSHIP || MPSU Officials, CHED Commissioner Join ‘Kapeoke’

BONTOC, Mountain Province – CHED Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III joined Mountain Province State University (MPSU) President Dr. Edgar G. Cue and university officials in an activity called “Kapeoke” on July 2, 2026, at the Espresso & Stories Coffee Library & Museum.

The activity was held following the inauguration and blessing of the University’s newly renovated Health Services Unit and brought together members of the university community for a gathering centered on coffee and music.

“Kapeoke,” which combines “kape” and “karaoke,” featured conversations over locally brewed highland coffee and singing among the participants. University officials, faculty members, staff, and students also took part in the activity, which allowed participants to interact in a more relaxed setting and fostered camaraderie within the university community.
