Mountain Province State University (MPSU) held its Orientation Program for BSN students and their parents today, July 1, at the University Auditorium, Bontoc, MP.
On behalf of the University President, Chief of Staff Dr. Karen B. Cue delivered his message during the event, where he addressed the tendency to compare one’s progress with others.
“Every day, you will see achievements, milestones, and successes around you. It is easy to feel left behind when others seem to be moving ahead faster. You see their success, but not their struggles. You see their smiles, but not their sacrifices. You see their achievements, but not their failures, doubts, and silent battles.”
The President concluded his message with a powerful reminder: “Life is NOT a race.”
Said orientation served as a meaningful start for BSN students as they begin their journey in the nursing profession.
