MPSU Accredited as TESDA Competency Assessment Center


The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) has officially awarded MPSU a Certificate of Accreditation as an Accredited Competency Assessment Center for Housekeeping NC II and Food & Beverage Services NC II.

The certificate was awarded by TESDA UTPRAS Focal Ms. Adolovenie M. Saguipil and TESDA Representative Sir Geoffrey F. Ana-ao, Jr., and was formally received by University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue today, July 21, 2026, at the Office of the President.

With this accreditation, MPSU is now authorized to conduct competency assessments for these hospitality-related qualifications, equipping learners with essential skills in maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and other housekeeping services, as well as in food preparation, beverage service, and customer care aligned with industry standards.

Dr. Cue extended his heartfelt gratitude to TESDA for its continued support and partnership, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration in strengthening skills development and expanding opportunities for learners.
