12 August 2026 – A new cohort takes its first step toward a career in hospitality as Mountain Province State University (MPSU) welcomed CIHSTM-Diploma in Hospitality Technology (DHT) Batch 4 during its Training and Induction Program at the HM/TM Hall, MPSU-Bontoc.
Representing University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, Chief of Staff Dr. Karen B. Cue emphasized the University’s commitment to developing globally competitive hospitality and tourism professionals, encouraging students to build not only technical expertise but also the values needed to deliver Filipino hospitality with professionalism and excellence.
TESDA Director General Sec. Francisco “Kiko” Benitez also extended his support through a special video message, while TESDA-MP Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UPTRAS) Focal Ms. Adolovenie M. Saguipil encouraged the students as they begin their academic and professional journey.
More than an introduction to the program, the activity set the tone for the students’ journey, one grounded in service, innovation, and sustainability, and shaped by the skills and values essential to the hospitality industry.
