πππ‘ππ¨π‘π, ππ‘ππ’π‘ππ¦ππ – A significant milestone in international academic collaboration was celebrated as Mountain Province State University (MPSU) and Politeknik Piksi Ganesha formally opened their International Twinning Program at the Convention Center of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha in Bandung, Indonesia on August 1, 2026. Said ceremony brought together students and representatives from both institutions to mark the start of the academic exchange between the Philippines and Indonesia.
A highlight of the event was the formal introduction of the four students participating in the program. Representing MPSU were Clarice B. Panyo and Edwin II K. Gomez, both Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management students. The MPSU students were accompanied by Dr. Elvin Perez Rosario, Dean of the College of Accountancy, Business Management, and Information Technology. Representing Politeknik Piksi Ganesha were Fathma Azzrahra, who is taking Administrasi Keuangan (Financial Administration), and Syaifa Silmi Rahmadina, a cadet student pursuing Administrasi Keuangan (Financial Administration) and Komputerisasi Akuntansi (Computerized Accounting).
The program gives the participating students an opportunity to experience a different academic environment, learn about another culture, and build connections with fellow students from another country. Moreover, ceremony also featured a symbolic exchange of documents between MPSU and Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, formally marking the launch of the twinning project and reaffirming the institutionsβ commitment to international learning opportunities.
Beyond academic learning, the International Twinning Program provides students with opportunities to broaden their perspectives, appreciate cultural diversity, build international friendships, and gain experiences that contribute to their personal and professional development.
The partnership will continue with the next phase of the exchange, as students from Politeknik Piksi Ganesha are expected to travel to MPSU in January 2027. The visit will allow the Indonesian students to experience the academic and cultural environment of the university while further strengthening the partnership.
Through the International Twinning Program, MPSU and Politeknik Piksi Ganesha continue to provide students with opportunities to expand their perspectives, engage in cultural exchange, and gain experiences that support their personal and professional growth.
