
πππ‘ππ¨π‘π, ππ‘ππ’π‘ππ¦ππ – Faculty members of Mountain Province State University (MPSU) and Politeknik Piksi Ganesha came together for an academic exchange on financial management, investment, and professional development as part of the institutionsβ International Twinning Program, held on August 1, 2026, at the Convention Center of Politeknik Piksi Ganesha in Bandung, Indonesia.
The faculty engagement provided a platform for both institutions to share knowledge and perspectives on financial practices, investment opportunities, and the preparation of globally competitive young professionals.
Dr. Elvin Perez Rosario, Dean of the College of Accountancy, Business Management, and Information Technology of MPSU, delivered two presentations during the activity.
His first presentation, βPersonal Financial Management Practices of Average-Earning Households within Indigenous Communities of Mountain Province,β examined the financial practices and experiences of households in indigenous communities, including the factors that influence their financial decision-making.
Dr. Rosario also presented βAlternative Investment Opportunities for Small to Medium Enterprises (SME): Exploring Capital Markets,β which discussed potential investment opportunities for small and medium enterprises. The presentation emphasized the value of understanding capital markets and exploring alternative investment strategies to support business growth and financial sustainability.
Meanwhile, Dr. Fenny Dayanti Rusmana, S.E., Ak., M.Kom, a lecturer from Politeknik Piksi Ganesha, shared her expertise through her presentation, βBuilding Financially Resilient and Globally Competitive Young Professional.β She highlighted the importance of developing financial resilience and preparing the next generation of professionals to navigate the demands of an increasingly global and competitive workplace.
Said exchange allowed faculty members and participants from both institutions to gain insights from the Philippine and Indonesian academic contexts, particularly in personal finance, investment, entrepreneurship, and professional development.
Beyond the presentations, the engagement strengthened interaction among faculty members and opened opportunities for continued knowledge-sharing and collaboration between MPSU and Politeknik Piksi Ganesha.
The activity marked another step in the growing academic partnership between the two institutions, reinforcing their shared commitment to providing meaningful learning opportunities and preparing students and professionals for an increasingly interconnected world.
