COPC PERSPECTIVE|| IQA, CAE and key officials meet for MSN COPC application updates


Administration Conference Hall- The Institutional Quality Assurance Unit met with the College of Advanced Education, along with key University officials, to discuss the updates regarding the result of the assessment from the Commission on Higher Education to the Master of Science in Nursing program.

The University submitted the necessary requirements for the application of the program’s Certificate of Program Compliance for two majors: Major in Clinical Practice (Academic Track) and Clinical Specialization this June 2026. The assessment result was officially received from the commission on 13 August 2026.

To convey the assessment result, Ms. Collins F. Lidua, the Director for Institutional Quality Assurance Unit called for the meeting.

The program is given 30 calendar days to comply the deficiencies and submit documentary requirements pointed out by the commission per CMO No. 15, s. 2019, including the following: spreadsheet of the non-teaching personnel with required information; summary of units and course description and syllabus by subject; and qualifications of the program coordinator.

Dr. June II A. Kiblasan later on presented the proposed course syllabus, one of the required documents, containing the course checklist and corresponding units to the body for improvement.

Said meeting was attended by VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, VP for Internationalization, Planning and Information Management Atty. Dexter C. Lingbanan, Dean for the College of Advanced Education Dr. Francisco C. Armas, Mr. Alfred O. Fomocao, Jr., Dr. Georgina P. Maskay, Ms. Annie Lourie Y. Paredes, Ms. Karyl A. Po-or, and IQA personnel.
