Mountain Province State University (MPSU) and Benguet State University (BSU), through the Center for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI), Office of Extension Services (OES), and College of Teacher Education (CTE), have formalized a partnership for the implementation of the extension project proposal, “GALATIS DI ADAL: A Community-Based Empowerment and Capacity Building for Parents, Teachers, and Youth.”
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed by MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, and BSU President Dr. Kenneth A. Laruan represented by Dr. Janeth Lynn M. Balagtey, Director for Center of Educational Research and Innovation, today, August 19, at the Office of the President, MPSU, Bontoc, Mountain Province.
Through the partnership, both institutions seek to strengthen community-based initiatives by empowering parents, enhancing teachers’ capacities, and nurturing youth leadership by providing trainings, workshops, and other community-based programs.
