BONTOC, Mountain Province — August 20, 2026. The Executive Council of Mountain Province State University (MPSU)- Bontoc Campus convened today to discuss budget planning and preparations for several major institutional activities.
The council consulted with Sir Mel A. Co, of the Budget Office, regarding the campus Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) and Annual Procurement Plan (APP). The consultation aimed to promote proper budget alignment, strengthen financial planning, and ensure that planned activities and procurement requirements support the university’s institutional priorities.
The council also discussed preparations for the upcoming activities like international cultural exchange, accreditation, and intramurals. These activities require coordinated planning among offices, academic units, faculty members, and students to ensure their orderly and successful implementation.
The meeting highlighted MPSU’s continuing commitment to sound administrative planning, quality assurance, international engagement, and student development. Through these discussions, the campus seeks to strengthen its programs and ensure that its activities remain aligned with its institutional goals.
