MPSU holds orientation-workshop on Community Health Nursing 1

The Mountain Province State University (MPSU) conducted an orientation-workshop on Community Health Nursing 1, a preparatory program designed to equip nursing students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to serve communities, today, August 26, at Basil and Lime, Samoki, Bontoc, MP.

University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue through his representative Atty. Denmark P. Butic graced the event, delivering a heartfelt message for the students.

In his remarks, Dr. Cue reminded them of the challenges and rewards of their chosen profession.

“Ang Nursing ay hindi madaling landas. Hihingin nito ang inyong oras, pasensya, kaalaman, kasanayan, at higit sa lahat, ang inyong puso. So, dear students, be proud of the path you have chosen. There is honor in caring for others. There is dignity in serving communities. And there is something truly special about knowing that your knowledge, your hands, and your heart can make a difference in someone’s life,” he said.

Said workshop ensures that the students not only understood the technical aspects of community health nursing but also internalized the values of service and compassion.
