The Program chairpersons and unit coordinators from the Mountain Province State University (MPSU)–Tadian and Paracelis Campuses participated in a meeting and orientation on the filling out of the newly approved Program, Project, and Activity (PPA) template on September 4 at the MPSU-Tadian Multimedia Room, Library Building.
The orientation was facilitated by MPSU Budget personnel Mr. Mel A. Co, assisted by Ms. Leila T. Bernardez, who discussed the proper preparation and completion of the newly approved PPA template as part of the university’s budget planning and programming process.
Mr. Co also discussed briefly the budget process, providing participants with an overview of the procedures and considerations involved in budget preparation, from the identification and programming of PPAs to their alignment with available resources and institutional priorities.
Meanwhile, Planning Officer Ms. Florence Coma-ad presented the University Strategic Plan which served as a reference in the preparation and alignment of the proposed programs, projects, and activities with the university’s strategic directions and priorities.
The orientation aimed to provide program chairpersons and unit coordinators with a common understanding of the newly approved PPA template and the budget process, ensuring that proposed activities are properly planned, aligned with institutional goals, and supported by appropriate budget requirements.
The activity also provided a venue for participants to raise concerns, clarify requirements, and discuss matters concerning the preparation and submission of their PPAs.
