
Muรฑoz, Nueva Ecija, Philippines- With the support of the University President, Dr. Edgar G. Cue, the School of Advanced Education (SAE), headed by Dr. Francisco C. Armas, Dean of the School of Advanced Education, along with the SAE Program Chairpersons and SAE personnel, conducted a fruitful benchmarking activity at the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) from April 2 to 4, 2025.
The team was warmly welcomed by Dr. Ravelina R. Velasco, Vice President for Academic Affairs at CLSU, followed by a presentation and discussion on the universityโs best practices and policies for its graduate programs by Dr. Rhodora I. Dela Rosa, Head of the CLSU-UGPO.
This activity will enable SAE leadership to rigorously assess and improve internal operations, including program management, curriculum development, and instructional delivery. Additionally, the SAE unit gained valuable insights on methods effective for student involvement, research productivity, and community extension programs.
To conclude the visit, the UGPO organized a brief campus tour of the universityโs centers and departments, including the Poultry Module 1 at the Department of Animal Science, the Small Ruminant Center, KAMALIG, and PCC Milka Krem.
With the acquired insights and ideas, the SAE unit is committed to strategically incorporating the identified best practices into actionable plans for curricular modifications, research advancement, and extension projects.
