
Coffee & Lemon, Samoki, Bontoc—In proactive preparation for the first semester of School Year 2025โ2026, the deans and program chairpersons of MPSU Bontoc Campus convened for a workshop focused on the meticulous plotting of course offerings and faculty workloads. The session aimed to ensure that academic plans are thoughtfully aligned with institutional goals and resource availability.
During the workshop, a comprehensive presentation was delivered highlighting the guidelines on faculty loading by the Campus Director, Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, and points to consider in Curriculum and Instruction by the Director for Curriculum and Instruction, Dr. Rhoda B. Galangco. Key considerations in the finalization of course schedules include program requirements, faculty availability, and student demand were tackled. Participants also discussed the timely submission of syllabi and other related academic documents, ensuring consistency and quality across all departments.
University President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by VP for Research, Development and Extension, Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, stressed the importance of the activity for a smooth and functioning academic flow for the next semester. โIn the process, we should also take into consideration every little detail to ensure fairness and avoid conflicts on room assignments and schedules,โ he added.
The workshop will continue in the academic heads’ respective offices until tomorrow, April 22, 2025. Upon completion, the finalized requirements and proposals will be submitted to the Campus Directorโs Office for review and approval before being endorsed to the Admission Office.
