
In collaboration with the Cordillera Regional Health and Research Development Consortium-Cordillera Administrative Region (CRHRDC-CAR), Mountain Province State University (MPSU) conducted a training-workshop on Institutional Basic Research Methods (BRM) today, April 23, 2025, at the Administration Conference Hall.
Participated in by MPSU faculty, coordinators, and Research Development and Extension (RDE) staff, this activity aimed to strengthen the institution’s research culture by equipping the participants with the tools they need to undertake their research projects.
MPSU President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Geraldine L. Madjaco, delivered a message of inspiration and support for the said initiative. Further, he also emphasized the significance of the activity not only to the participants but to the institution and the community as a whole.
โExcellence in research is one of our institutional goals because this is not just our foundation for academic growth, but also for contributing to our community. It is indeed a tool for understanding our environment and society and can lay the groundwork for developing innovative solutions to gaps and problems,โ he said.
BRM trainers of CRHRDC-CAR and MPSU, namely Dr. Ailyn Fadriquela, Dr. Eva F. Dimog, Dr. Jude L. Tayaben, Ms. Femarie B. Changli, Ms. Lilian M. Tumapang, Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez, and Dr. Annie Grail F. Ekid, are the resource speakers and mentors for this three-day activity which will until April 25.
