Administration Conference Hall— To help newly hired Contract of Service faculty members acclimate to the Universityโs culture and workplace expectations, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs- Curriculum and Instruction, conducted an induction program for the academic year 2025-2026 today, 31 July 2025.
Under the theme โTogether We Grow: Creating A Culture of Learning, Well-being, and Shared Success,โ the activity aimed to familiarize new emergency faculty members with the values and policies of MPSU, ensuring a smooth integration into the University community.
Key component of the induction was the introduction to Outcome-Based Education (OBE), with particular emphasis on Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning (OBTL) and Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA). These sessions are designed to equip faculty with effective strategies to enrich their course syllabi and enhance student learning outcomes.
In addition, the event underscored the Universityโs commitment to gender sensitivity and inclusivity by strengthening the implementation of Commission on Higher Education Memorandum Order No. 1, series of 2015 (CMO 1 s. 2015), which establishes policies and guidelines on Gender and Development within higher education institutions.#
